I'm rather amazed that Edward can't see the parallels between his and Rose's behavior. They BOTH made a decision that had long lasting effects for themselves AND their partners without even considering asking for the other party's input. Some could argue that Edward's choice to leave Bella was an unselfish act because he was so miserable, but his decision to not discuss it with her and give her a chance to argue her side was completely selfish.
I am LOL, though, that I pegged what Rose would do as soon as I learned all the differences of being a Daywalker. I knew she'd be first in line with a request. :D Now I'm just wondering if making the change can alter a person's gift? :/
