Again another fantastic story: capturing all the passion of HR.
eggwhisker chapter 1 . 10/1/2010
I love this. Harry is rarely so effusive, but I like to think he has such sentiments bottled up, competing to get out so articulately! You capture the tense atmosphere brilliantly. Thanks for sharing.
parttimeficwriter chapter 1 . 10/1/2010
That was lovely, I really enjoyed the image of a rain soaked Harry stood outside her door.
This Used To Be My Account chapter 1 . 10/1/2010
Oh how I love the rain in fic. I find it to be the prefect Harry and Ruth weather. If can reflect their mood, it can bring them closer. Rain is definitely their weather!

I really enjoyed the way concern and confusion lead to a forced confrontation, and though the tension between them and sorrow that surrounds them in the first two thirds of the fic was the absolutely highlight of it.

Well done

The Emerald Ink chapter 1 . 10/1/2010
Wow! That was beautiful! I love your style of writing and how you cleverly incorporated the previews!I love the image of them building a fire together...so romantic.

However, the best part by far was Harry's tears at the end. That part made the story...so much tenderness that words can not describe were conveyed here! Thank you. Brilliant xx
0074 chapter 1 . 9/30/2010
Excellent. Intense. All very believable. I think my heart was actually aching for them both reading this. You really do get inside their skins with your writing.

This made me smile because it feels very Ruth and Harry:

She's cross. He is so close that he can read the words on her lips. He's amused at how colourful those words are.

And it all works very well with what we've seen on screen, exploring what these two characters are probably feeling and why they are hurting each other the way they are:

'I don't mean the house in wherever and the domestic stuff and having the neighbours round …'

'But you never said', she whispers. 'You never said you felt that way …'

He stares at her incredulously. 'What do you think I was proposing, Ruth?'

Thanks for writing. Hope there's another piece on the horizon :)
