First of all .. I like the way Spock tried to look for logic for what happened and kept himself in peace. But I claim jaws for Jim's stupidity. He should be able to see that Spock is injured and ragged, not just sperm stains.

This is definitely my go-to feels story. But sometimes bad has been stirring in my mind on how this could have gone.

What if Spock didn't faint? And kept to himself, becoming more and more isolated and broken. Eventually it turns out the assault was caught on a security cameras and it took the investigators a while to find narrow down that the Enterprise crew was there that night. They go aboard the Enterprise to ask questions and when given the description of the victim they realize what happened.

But Spock has been emotionally damaged by, not only the assault, but also his treatment by his crew members. He only interacts with others when needed and he was still shunned, so no one knows how bad he has gotten. Needless to say, they see that he isn't doing well now that they stop shunning him. And he gets overwhelmed about their sudden concern, no longer used to social interaction.

Let's not forget the investigation, to rub even more salt into the infected wound.

Or even worse, he already quit and everyone knows what he "did". "Vulcan Whore" is one of the main names he is called, and is shunned even by his own father. So the crew hunt him down and found that life was downright cruel to him. But he has some very protective friends that look after him to be nicer.

Or he could have closed himself off emotionally from the outside world, being little more than a robot who does his job or follows commands, but has developed a sort of "Mind Palace" where he has a happy life.

I see so many branching realities for this story. Why hasn't anyone written any variations to this?

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this! I just..it's beautiful well as beautiful as something like this can be. I think you handled the characterization well because how else would Spock act? I mean this whole thing is OOC but for GOOD reason..because the circumstances are terrible but the characters are doing the best they can to get through it. I was reading the reviews left by others and I want to apologize on behalf of them because I felt they weren't really constructive? They were borderline: "I-don't-like-this-because-x-y-and-z" "you-should-do-this-x-and-this-y" . But I write this because I want you to know that I love it and I back your writing style up.

The ending is the conclusion so it would make sense to tie up loose ends! Also, the ending is not rushed! It moves within the story nicely and the ending basically cements the whole theme of this and that's the relationship between Jim and Spock and then on another scale Spock with himself..
I'm sorry this is so long I just felt I had to tell you this because I don't like when people write stories and they aren't given the appreciation they deserve. Have a nice day!

There were some persistent grammatical errors, most notably with verb tense ("in light his transgression," "over heard," "taunted him and he can find," consistent use of commas before quotes, etc.), and OOCness of the majority of the cast was distracting, to say the least.
The use of medical detail was appropriate, given Spock's character, and it provided an interesting angle from which to approach the many graphic physical details of the fic.

This was so heartbreaking. You really know how to tug at the heartstrings. Brilliant work!

This story is so sad and beautiful. I had to cry and I still can't stop.

The ending was a bit rushed, but I love the emotions you managed to convey, and especially that you didn't follow the typical magicalhealingsex idea where the victim is perfectly fine after, like, days or weeks or something. It felt much more realistic. Good writing!
