Thought this was a lovely, entertaining little tale. Really good.

BUT, I remember having to learn The Erlking at school; I hated it then, and hate it now! I agree it's magnificently creepy, but it's so MORBID. Brought back unlovely memories!

But your story is great. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing story...and the inspiration was just too perfect. Why? There are many translations to the title "der Erlkönig". The two I'd learned while taking German were Elf King...and Elf Lord. This is a parallel I'll not forget soon.

I especially like that Gibbs took the nightmare to be the warning he needed to keep Tim (and the rest of them) safe.

this was really really good. i think i liked it more though before kate turned into that creepy terrifying thing that killed tim :p I really liked the going back and forth between tim and him seeing kate to gibbs and the teams reactions and tim asking them if they saw her too. spot on. i gotta say i'm glad this was a premonition _ when i read the line 'tim mcgee was dead' i let out one of those gasping no's and continued to mumble no,no,no,no,no until i read that gibbs woke up from a nightmare:p and then all was good. yes, better safe than sorry!

I love it, I would love to see you write another part. Like Ziva having the same dream and maybe Tony
