If you aren't now making your living as a writer, and want to, I advise:

Get one or two stories published in smaller venues - the only ones that will handle unagented submissions, pretty much.
With a real publication history, an agent will be much likelier to look at your work and take you on.
Mainstream publishers take four years or more to get around to reading unagented submissions, if they don't just send them straight back in the SASE you provided.

It's not that easy to break in, but it can be done, and you've definitely proven that you have the skill and imagination for the big leagues. And, having been a pro myself for decades, I should know.

Thank you for a brilliant and enjoyable read! I think I liked your Harry Dresden stories as much as I like Jim Butcher's, which is an awesome amount!

Just blasted though this series, AMAZING. You clearly had a plan from the beginning, and you executed it beautifully.

Based on the Author's notes of the last book it seems you thought it would be done the last book earlier, yet you continued for much longer.

I'm so glad you did.

You didn't rush things. You kept the pace up. You tied up loose ends but didn't stumble into the pitfall of having an epilogue that was all bubblegum-and-flowers.

It was breathtaking. You captured the essence of Dresden files perfectly and kept us laughing, cringing and anticipating in turn. They could easily publish this series and it would be a bestseller.

You clearly spent so much of your valuable time on this, and yet within a week we get to barrel though years of your hard work. We are truly fortunate that you were gracious enough to bless us with your wonderful writing talent.
