Reviews for From Tragedy to Treasure
Sharklist6285 chapter 8 . 2/7/2018
I really like the story I just don’t really enjoy the way things are moving too quickly. Like I don’t think harry would tell his friends so much about his situation and and I think the relationship between Harry and Severus needs to be explained/explores more but yeah, it’s good
Annoymous chapter 17 . 3/19/2017
Need more!

And go into Dracos part. He will be a great brother to harry again :)
Saissa chapter 5 . 6/26/2016
So Uncle Vernon was right - Harry's mother was a whore!

That's the way I would react if I ever received that letter!
Danny for Jesus chapter 16 . 1/6/2015
I loved Reading From Tragedy to Treasure Meanwhile I'll Update Running and read From Kinship to Family
C.C.Squirrel chapter 4 . 5/1/2014
Oh, I love the reference to Star Wars IV (The original trilogy was the best IMO.) Snape showing a sense of humor? My the man has been a good actor all this time.
mysinger chapter 17 . 1/20/2014
This is a thoroughly enjoyable story. I particularly enjoyed the chapters detailing Harry and Severus' summer vacation together. Looking forward to the sequel.

Oh, drat! I was hoping to read about that tattoo! ;)
missgsmith51 chapter 16 . 11/18/2013
Ah, the Beatles. I suppose every kid who grew up in the 60s has a favorite Beatles song. Mine is still "In My Life."

Didn't Draco just save Harry? If so, why?

Interesting last line of the chapter! Can't wait to see what's up next!
missgsmith51 chapter 15 . 11/18/2013
Poor Harry! As much as I love horses, I'm not sure I'd want to ride one after sitting on a broom for four hours. I wonder if Snape used cushioning charms on them. I'll bet he had one on his own broom!

This seems an odd holiday, to me. There isn't much time spent just relaxing and getting to know one another. (It reminds me of those whirlwind tours people take, which move so fast there isn't really time to "savor" any of the experiences.) Maybe all that "down time" with Rowan messed up their schedule. After the crazy year, I'd have thought they might prefer a more restful, easygoing holiday. I guess I'm showing my age. LOL
missgsmith51 chapter 14 . 11/18/2013
Harry doesn't learn too well, does he? Then again, this Snape is still rather distant, IMO.
missgsmith51 chapter 13 . 11/18/2013
How did Professor Kettleburn know to look for them? And if Madam Pomfrey has seen Sev, does this mean she came to them or they returned to Hogwarts?

Was Rowan really out to harm them, or was it truly as she told Harry, that Snape essentially needed to let go of the guilt and move on?
missgsmith51 chapter 12 . 11/18/2013
Beware of the poppies? That sounds like it should be in Wizard of Oz.

Snape is really being rather snarky for being on holiday. I wonder why he didn't attend more closely to the little magical girl. In his place, I would have done so. I'm also curious why Harry didn't mention Dobby to Snape.
missgsmith51 chapter 11 . 11/18/2013
I'm curious to know why Snape became so angry in Aurora's quarters and why he stalked out. Also, what broke in Dumbledore's office? Did it have to do with the parchments Snape handed him (which, I am guessing, were an application for the DADA position)?

Snape doesn't strike me as the camping out type. Then again, wizard tents are hardly like Muggle ones, if what we saw at the QWC is any indication. Even I might like camping that way.
missgsmith51 chapter 10 . 11/18/2013
Okay, so will we know what Snape saw? I'm guessing it was something different than Harry saw.
missgsmith51 chapter 9 . 11/18/2013
I don't agree with Dumbledore about Sinistra sharing NO bond with Harry. After all, didn't SHE willingly risk her life and her magical core to save Harry with the Martyr's Gift? Other than blood, how is her sacrifice so far from Lily's?
