Really liked this and the connected piece. Both were nicely done.
The idea of John as a consulting detective is so very interesting. I've read some where John learns a few tricks and it's always fun when he uses them and people stare in horror at the idea of another 'Sherlock'.

...that was ...excellent! i mean it, i'd just finished reading your other fic about how "john causes sherlock to..." and though i think the other one was better, i loved how you tied in the feeling of neither of them " feeling being human" but effecting the other so much that they now do, thought it was tres manifique
