I absolutely loved this; Cinna is one of my favourite of the characters whose backstory you never truly find out about, and this fleshed-out version of him fits perfectly with what you know of him in canon without being like anything I've ever read featuring him before. Fantastic writing, fantastic characterisation and definitely one I know I'll be coming back to!

A great back story for Cinna. Very unusual. I have to wonder - did he get the purple tatooing off somehow? Katniss never mentioned it. I love Finnick in this too.

I liked the immage of Cinna in the hospital, thinking about how the tributes could be saved easily. I liked how no one understood him, and how the poisoned girl from district 12 started it all and was part of the reason why he wanted to be stylist for district 12.

And I liked your incipit, too. "The day I turned twelve, I nearly died." It immediately got me interested and made me want to know more.

This was probably the best fanfiction I've read in a while.

This is one of those stories where I'm just...blown away by the creativity. I've only ever read one other story about Cinna's past that blew my mind quite like this one, and I love it. I love him as a character, and I love the depth that you brought to him, and his greater role within the story. I'm going to go read everything else you've written now!
