I like that Glorfindel was actually allowed to help Erestor. Poor fellow, he's really taking the brunt of everything here.

Oh my goodness, poor Erestor! I thought we would learn that Erestor had been kidnapped in his past- almost a Celebrian type history- not necessarily orcs, but I'm sure you get the picture. Instead we get this and oooh *shudders* This is almost a little worse.

This was interesting to see Glorfindel being the one in danger, rather than someone else.

This is an interesting first chapter. I love Erestor and Glorfindel. BROTP!
The idea of Erestor with a dark past is intriguing too!

Wonderful story! Love your take on these characters. The dialogue flows so naturally and I felt so engrossed in the story. Erestor is such a complex character in your hands and Glorfindel, who I've always loved, as noble as I imagine him. Well done!

That you think "avari" means "slave" says a lot about how the Eldar view/treat the Unwilling.

Elrohir's perspective was convincing and whole - you illustrated his desire to be _out_ and his nervousness well. It was a nice contrast to Glorfindel's experience with him. I like looking about how characters are different people to different characters!

That was a great story, I finished it in one night.

Sorry I didn't stop to review for the other chapters, but I couldn't stop reading I was like "next, next, NEXT!" (yes I am crazy)

I have to say poor Erestor, you drugged him through a knot hole than left him in it (for a little while), but great job I can't wait to check out your other stories. XD
