I must apologise for my previous critical comments. Apart from this being an excellent Chapter and cheering me up, all my angst was really with the script writers, not you. They gave you an impossible task. I suppose I just wanted your chapters to be even more critical of Elena.

You continue to be in denial. She chose Stefan and still does.

It was only when she realised that Damon's love was unconditional and that Stefan's wasn't that she chose Damon. But. She. Chose. Stefan. Both before and after turning.

How do you rationalise in the next episode, Elena telling Stefan that she made the right choice and then sitting on the roof with him all luvvy duvvy accepting his ring.

She DUMPED Damon for Stefan after all he had done for and after all Stefan had done to her.

Just stop rationalising her betrayal of Damon.

She turned her back on him after Denver; asked Stefan to go with the dance with her; spent all her time there with him and then stood next to him as she ignored Damon outside the crypt even though he was Ric's friend, not Stefan and was the one needing support.

I love the way you try to counteract the questionable integrity of the script but in this instance it was a laudable attempt to defend the indefensible.

It is my theory that at least one of the co-writers always wanted Elena to end up with Stefan, so continually demonized Damon's actions whilst underplaying Stefan's. In my view you are wrong in trying to underplay the extent of Elena's manipulation and betrayal of Damon and unswerving love and loyalty to Stefan despite his many flaws.

I think it was only with the unprecedented support of the Damon fans against the thrust of the plot that created Delena. Without them I'm sure it would have ended up as Stelena.

In my opinion Damon has every right to be well and truly sick of Elena's (script writers') treatment of him. I think he should continue to distance himself from her until such time she treats him with some real respect, never mind love.

I'm a distinct Delena fan, but like you, Elena in the show drives me crazy.

I love your perspective. I belive Delena is still the show end game. You should continue to write.

I'm a major Delena fan! I love what you wrote! I hope they keep Delena going in TVD! I wanna see them as a married human couple with kids!

I like the idea that Damon gets to visit Elena...I wonder why that can't happen on the show (aside from Nina not being on it anymore).

I really like the support that Bonnie shows for Damon and Elena.

I really like that Damon brought up the approval and disapproval they had from Elena's friends and for which one Elena should listen to when it came to her relationship with Damon. Bonnie Approved is much better!

Caroline is definitely not the right person that Elena should be asking when it comes to Damon. She should ask Alaric, I mean he may have been dead when they got together but we know through Ghost!Alaric that he's been watching over them so he'd know more than Caroline would.

I do like how Elena wouldn't accept Caroline's disgust or disapproval of the whole thing. Elena wanted answers and she wasn't going to let Caroline's judgement get in the way of her getting the truth.

Elena may have 'ripped' Stefan's heart out but Stefan eventually became a Delena shipper too! He wants them together now. Correction, maybe it's Stefan that Elena should be talking to over Caroline since Stefan would have Damon's side to a majority of the things too.

Anyways, sorry for the rant...great job on the chapter!
