awww! this is awesome! I always loved the Damon/Teddy scenes. it truly is a shame that teddy burned up in the fire Elena set.

This was so cute. I think having Elena be ill (and probably a little delirious) helped make this more believable. Of course I noticed when Damon played with Elena's teddy bear (it was too cute not to), but I never really made this connection. Now that you've pointed it out, I suppose it would make sense. Like when another child picks up a toy you've forgotten about and suddenly it's the most important toy in the world. Or maybe, subconsciously, the teddy bear acts as a surrogate Damon for her to cuddle. )

Awe! I have to say that this one-shot was so sweet [: Now you said it, I have realized it. Elena have been hugging that teddy bear more often than she had before Damon had touched the teddy bear.

Oh how cute was that? I totally agree the ending of BNW was terrible cheesy and not really original (is it just me or does every second couple on TV has a ferri wheel scene?)

I always loved Damon with the teddy and I loved how used the teddy to bring them closer again. I loved how cute Elena was in your story and of course Damon was amazing and brought her the hot chocolate.
