Both Gold and Crystal were in character, and it felt very calm and sweet. I liked their switching self-reflections, and of course the Luvdisc part. I loved it!

The only thing that puzzled me a little was the paragraph where Explotaro was battling. Since both Explotaro and Gold are both male, I got mislead a little and wondered who was doing the fighting ...even though it should've been obvious. You can easily slip in "Explotaro" or "the/his Typhlosion" somewhere, but it's not that big an issue. (And don't Typhlosions have navy/blue backs, not green...?)
