Lovely and perfect. I'd just read your likewise lovely "Of Sons" for the Forever fandom, and decided I'd found an author worth investigating further. So glad I did! This is absolutely perfect.

I didn't notice that blooper, no - I must keep an eye out next time I watch this episode. I like this turn of events, and Sherlock trying to sneak Chinese food into the ward! Ha! Brilliant. :)

Haha that was great, I lived the beans part and the you're not even pretty! And you're right, John always get pushed aside by Sherlock's massive intellect. But they make the perfect pair of friends.
Also I thought America was the only place that didn't know what rugby was!
But you used it fine.

Hee, this is awesome. I love the self-deprecating humour John treats everything with. And you captured that in his thoughts as well.
There's no real reason , is there? But they are just kind of perfectly suited to be each others foils.
Great little piece.

"Like I'd… hallucinate… you," he replies wearily.
These two lines fit so well with this piece. Such a change than so many of the slash pieces about these characters. I can just see John taking a breath between ... those words.
The story was totally entertaining and kept you guessing on their relationship the whole time.

Brilliant, truly amazing, you just get John's character down to a T. Also I have no idea about rugby but that was funny and all sorts of awesome. Also I hope that this will not remain your last venture into the Sherlock fandom because I'd love to read more!

Oh, and in answer to your author's note about the gun. The camera angle is such that we can't see Benedict coming forward and picking up the gun (though if you listen with the sound up you can hear it) and going off. However, there is the wince-inducing edit error where they put two takes together and gave us Sherlock w/ gun pointed, then down, then back up; and a wide angle showing Moriarty with arms folded on the echoing 'Do!'.

But if the show helps generate fic like this, I'll ignore those little edit bloops.
