it was beautiful. I was not in new york but i was up early getting ready for work watching the news. Everything stopped after I watched an absolute tragedy.

I was only seven at the time it happened but I remember a teacher wailed and broke down in the hallway, and a kid in my class was led out. Her father had died when it hit.

I've never really thought about how 9/11 could have affected these characters and others. This makes them seem more real, more believable. Beautiful story. I only recently fully realized the extent of damage and horror from those attacks when we watched a real-footage documentary in class. As a reflection, I want to do a series of stories from different people's point of view. It just really got to me how for everyone, it was just a normal morning. People were working at their desks, sipping coffee, rushing to get to work, conning an insurance company, and thanking God it wasn't Monday. Then it was suddenly turned into a dark, grey hell. Great job with this! You really captured that feeling.

So sad, but so good. Makes me wonder what Neal & Peter's 9/11 experiences were (if Neal was even there at the time).

I have spent most of my life in New York State, though I was nowhere near NYC in '01, since my first visit there didn't happen until '08. Either way, I applaud you for writing a story similar to an idea that has actually been floating around my head for a few days :) And you've done a much better job of capturing the characters than I could ever do. Nice job :)
