Normally, I don't support Neville/Hannah pairings, but the way that you write them makes me like them as a couple. Generally, I just can't wrap my mind around the two being romantically compatible, but you characterize them so sweetly. I love Hannah and how she eventually gets a hold on her fear of death.

Aw, that was so sweet! I love the ending, even though I completely expected her to die. Lovely descriptions of different times in her life that she interacted with death.

And don't fret about the length; I myself have written oneshots twice as long! XD Sometimes you just need to get it all out! Every bit added something.

I loved this story. You got into Hannah's head through a subject which is so sad, but so natural, and you revealed her to us little by little. The section with Neville, the dialogue was so real, and I loved how she interacted with everyone. I also liked the moments you chose, because they weren't just the ones I'd expected - the battle, her mother etc - but you went futher than that, and it really worked. The only crit I have (and it's not even about your writing or the subject matter) is: I didn't notice it before, and I don't know if it's just me, but I find the '~' a little jarring as I'm reading. '-' is much smoother :)
