I love that Ryoka is less isolated than Ryoma was, that she has close female friends in Tomoka and Sakuno and that she's interested in boys and shoes and clothes, too, even if she doesn't quite understand what all the fuss is about some of the other things other girls like. It makes her feel real, and very lovable in a way that Ryoma...kind of isn't? I mean, don't get me wrong, Ryoma is great, but he's not really charming so much as charismatic. Ryoma's bluntness means that Ryoka can be very open and honest about her feelings, and that's just so so so adorable. Also Ryoma trolling Nanjiroh with PDA was hilarious, but geez Fuji flirting with your little brother's girlfriend is a no-no :v
