I absolutely love that movie and also fell in love the first time I watched it. Imagine my delight when one of my favorited tt authors started writing for breakfast club. I'm always looking for more good bc fics and am so glad you have started writing for it. Keep up the good work.

This is *incredible* - and I use that word very rarely when it comes to fanfiction. But this, THIS - is such an obvious work of love and passion - you can tell how deeply you cared for the movies and the characters. I love this movie with my whole heart, and to see the couple that grabbed my heart with no excuses written in such a *real* way...thank you. I rarely see such great writing, writing that is something that I always thought but would have never put it the way you did.

Bender and Claire hold such a special place in my heart, and you just NAILED their personalities - especially Bender. This was so well written, I could quote it endlessly, but this one was...it made me wish I had written it, it captured Bender so well -

"And then, as he always did, Bender took the stillness and shattered it."

...Wow. I could see John Hughes himself reading this and then leaning back and thinking"Damn, I thought I knew my own characters well..."

THE ENDING. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU for it. Claire's words just packed a wallop - you can tell she means every single syllable. She has this guy with his anger and his hurt and his long hair and "hawkish stare" ( by the way - I read that and melted) in her life now, and SHE WANTS HIM - AND THE WORLD - TO KNOW IT. Come hell or highwater or Monday morning, she's his and he knows it.

This is amazing. Please keep writing more material - especially for Breakfast Club. I hope this fic is the start of a beautiful writing relationship.

Excellent fic, short and sweet... and you kept them amazingly in character. I could almost imagine this as a deleted scene. Great job.
