akinomatis chapter 41 . 5/24 So what was Sookie’s wish? |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 41 . 11/28/2019 Seriously? All that & then in Sookie’s ideal, cluvial dor wish granted world, Bill is there? FUCK NO! |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 38 . 11/28/2019 I know it’s an emergency & all, but did Eric & Fergus take off & leave the precious book, carefully protected for ages, behind for asshole Bill to get his loathsome mitts on? Pffffft! I still say Bill needs to be ended right away & with prejudice! |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 37 . 11/28/2019 I guess I’m just the paranoid type, but I would think the first thing the three of them would do would be grab the book & computer & all go somewhere away from asshole Bill’s house! Yeah ... like I said, they should have left while it was just the three of them... |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 36 . 11/28/2019 The iron in th cemetery burned Sookie. How, in modern times, had she not known about or dealt with an iron ‘allergy’? |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 24 . 11/28/2019 So, did Sookie forget about her ‘friends’ Sam & Tara or just figure they didn’t need rescuing since they were in cahoots with Franklin & Mickey? I figure they deserve to have their asses left behind, but it’s so un-Sookie-like not to throw a tantrum, insisting that her loser pals be saved too. |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 23 . 11/28/2019 Eric ought to leave her bitchy ass with Russell & just let try to rescue herself. She’s so delusional! It’s not as if she even managed to free the three on her own. She needed the gnome’s help, Ferguson advice, & Eric’s blood just to accomplish that. Am I the only one that has difficulty finding Sookie’s appeal? I’m guessing there’s maybe 2% of the stories where I don’t want to throttle her. The Eric characters are what keep me reading & hoping for better versions of Sookie! |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 20 . 11/28/2019 So the vampire, the elf, & the werewolf all decide to brawl & let Sookie get carted away? I’m confused. |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 19 . 11/28/2019 Yeah, see I think the best way to start any E&S story is to kill Bill & Sam both within the first chapter or two... |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 18 . 11/28/2019 RE: you author’s note about the SVM characters seeming different after TB. I wondered how much impact selling rights for the TV show might have impacted CH, because it sure seemed like she started turning on her own characters somewhere around mid-series of the books. I was a latecomer to both the books & TB, both were over before I got to them, but seemed really odd the way that the earlier books were building interesting potential in the characters, especially Sookie, then suddenly everything went to Hell. Sookie got more & more annoying and Eric got raped for another 200 years. ‘Cuz that’s what fantasy fiction readers really want to read, right? Ugh! And Stupid Sookie never learns, never listens, and always puts Eric at risk to save her dumb, stubborn ass. I do question his taste most of the time... |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 17 . 11/28/2019 Alcide then Mickey, then The Torture Twins — that group wasn’t bad enough? You had to totally gross me out by including Bill too? |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 16 . 11/27/2019 Doesn’t matter how good looking he is, Alcide always turns out to be a pig (in wolf’s clothing). Seems like Sookie could do Maria Star a good turn & point Alcide in that direction though. |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 15 . 11/27/2019 Doesn’t seem like much of a ‘deal.’ She was already about to have sex with him before they were interrupted. So he’s doing everything for what she was already going to do without him doing those things. Business as usual for Eric in regard to Sookie, but how does Sookie not view the deal she just offered him as a type of prostitution? |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 14 . 11/27/2019 The python— excellent imagery. I’m not getting the whole ‘something he can’t place’ in her scent & taste. He already concluded she’s related to Claude & Dermot in an earlier chapter & therefore a member of the **fairy** House of Brigant. What else would there be? So, I’m guessing Niall is funding the synthetic blood research as well as Sookie’s schooling? Seems odd that Gran wouldn’t encourage Sookie to try to read her mind when she’s saying she’s sorry but was compelled not to say anything else. |
GlassMazeGazer chapter 13 . 11/27/2019 Of course she wouldn’t follow Eric’s advice & stay home. Better to go stick her head in the lion’s mouth, again and again. Always a good idea to sweep the porch (crucial to have a leafless porch) around sunset too. And just like the dumb Sams from other stories, he shifts to a collie. I mean, what collie can’t take down a wolf or a werewolf, really? ERROR: Ch 12 Sookie said her Grandfather’s name was Mitchell, but this chapter she’s calling him Earl. So, all the sudden fairies, Mississippi, & Bill (therefore Louisiana) all know about & are in pursuit of her. Was her presence announced in a nationally distributed supe newsletter a couple days prior? |
