anon chapter 13 . 4/15/2011 I need a favor, could you please give this reivew of Revenge and Reversal, since Sentiel103 doesn't accept annonymous reviews The way I see it after attacking a United States' army fort/base they are no longer just criminals they are enemies of the state, the compound should have been staked out or somehow found out if no innocents there then after the president declared them so, an airstrike should have been used, ignoring that they are terrible people and the world is better off without them, that said, Ron as a Jew doesn't (or I'd hope not) need a lecture on how dangerous vigilante getting rid of undesirables mob mentally is (bottom line it's about accountability for when things go wrong, when innocent people get hurt which is in no way saying black ops don't have their necessity they can be used as a force of good), these were professional people or at least had professional training who knew what they were doing to stop bad guys and save innocents Here is my problem, it is my belief that a hero doesn't just save people but teaches the people to take care of themselves, I see no reason why everyone shouldn't be given an opputunity to harness magic and superpowers and advanced technology, mass production may not be possible but a little bit could go a long way, yes the best and brightest will elevate themselves above the common man there will always be some exploitation and as long as they don't kill anyone or otherwise actively oppress they should be allowed to earn as much as they can, it's nature, best for our species as it improves the standard of living of the human race as a whole, but we need to have as even a playing field as possible so I was irked when Ron destroyed Amy's notes rather than put them in the hands of I don't know Kim's parents or GJ you know what I mean Ninjas when you get right down to it were/are spies and assassins but for their feudal lords, their government, like most mercenaries patriotic, professional people doing professional jobs, if not their country than fighting priates, drug lords and their ilk |
Joe Stoppinghem chapter 13 . 3/31/2011 What an eerie end to a story. With that vision of Ron, Tara and Lon hearing Kim's screams... I'm going to have a little trouble sleeping tonight. Hopefully, your next book on this story will be arriving soon. Thanks, (I think). |
