It is really nice to have closure, for everyone. This was a very nice story with lots of possibilities for how Bering & Wells played out behind the scenes. The intimacy was divine.

Very sad, and very well done. It's hard to write the perspectives of two different people, I would imagine. But you have done so admirably.

"We have all the time in the world." Of course they didn't, but with luck they do again. So tender! You write the physical part of these scenes well, btw. Where and how they hold each other, the bucking, and more.

Those scenes, well, the, um, intimacy in London was extraordinary. Just lovely. Well written and intimate in more than just sexually.

One of the things I really like is how realistic this is, in the way of human emotions. For instance, after Claudia stalked Myka, and then they talked, Myka wasn't in a romantic mood any longer. I suspect most writers would still write a torrid scene, but that would be ignoring the impact of, not only Claudia's thoughts, but also Myka's own thoughts and concerns about sneaking around.

That is such a lovely scene. Helena and Myka in the room, Myka working out what she is comfortable doing, the kiss, and the jacket.
