Sad that you didn't continue this

There is a sequel, it is much needed! Why did you not continue it? Would be so good to see the Bass family living together! I like Teddy's perspective, seems he has a lot of adjustment to do and he still didn't have major bonding moment with Blair like Elle had had with Chuck. Also we didn't get Elle and Maverick plot line development.

Oh my god! I love Teddy and Elle. I really hope you are planning on continuing this.

So I read Between the Shadows and the Soul, fell in love, and got really excited about this story! And it already seems like it's going to be great.

Just a note: the french expression for "in love" is "tomber amouruex/amoureuse de quelqu'un'. English gets the expression "to fall in love" from the literal french translation of "to be in love." To say, then, that Scarlett is in love with Teddy, Elle would say, "elle est tombée amoureuse de toi, pour de vrai" to mean 'she's in love with you, honestly'. Just thought I'd let you know! I practically squealed when I saw that you posted this! I only have fond memories of BTSATS and it is undoubtedly one of my favourite GG fanfics out there.

Wonderful first chapter- love that your description of Teddy and Elle in terms of character traits is similar to those if Blair and Chuck respectively. Makes me think how hard it may have been for both Chuck and Blair to live with a child that reminded them so much of their soulmate.

Speaking of CB, hope we get more glimpses of them in upcoming chapters cause they're just adorable!

Ohhhh this is wonderful. I did read BTSATS way back when and always thought we were a little bit robbed of seeing Chuck and Blair interact once remarried and mushy, even if it's by glimpses through their children's point of views. I loved Elle's shout out at Teddy being a Waldorf woman, because it's so true. I look forward to his and Blair's interactions considering they really don't know much about each other and it must be sort of painful for him. Anyway, very excited about this so update soon!

hehe! im all for the cute little epilogue at the end, but nothing beats a new story on awesome characters tht uve created! im sooo glad the majority of this was in Teddys opinions because u didnt really do tht in ur last story and i am in LOVE wit teddy, hes such a waldorf, its mindblowing! hes adorable and his thoughts are sooo the perfect mix of what chuck and blair were in high school, like each of his qualities can be pinned to how blair or chuck was (blair: lists, emotional, love... chuck: no direction, didnt know what he liked, living up to fathers expectations) i loove it. o ahah and tht little tidbit on eleanor (grandma) made me laugh because he didnt know she was his grandmother at the time... anyways im sooo glad ur continuing this story and i TOTALLY forgot tht gossip girl was something from the first gg generation and was used as elle's source of info, but aaha i love tht u brought it back out of the blue (but who could this be, someone new... whose in the inner circle AWESOME... but i wonder if tht even matters...) ooh and favor! i did in fact read ur last story mostly all at once before the last like 6 chapters came out, but i still need a quick refresher on whose who. so maaaybe u could do a quick thing on whose kids are whose and whose married to who or divorced (though some stuffs coming back to me)... but i LOVED it and am excited tht i can read this one from the beginning though slightly frustrated because i enjoyed being able to just read through most of it all at once aha UPDAATE! great idea! sorry its so long...
