Oh man. Where has this story been all my life? This is EXACTLY what I've been dying to read ever since Adam was first introduced. And good god this is better than I ever expected to read. This is genuinely AMAZING! :) I loved Sam and Adam's banter, I love how easily they formed a friendship and I LOVE Sam's big brotherly protectiveness of Adam. I love it all! Also, kudos to setting this right after John's death. Makes the brotherly dynamic that much unique. I can't wait to read more of your work!

Ah, I haven't read a lot of Sam and Adam bonding together, just the two of them. This is awesome but really, really heartbreaking at the same time. Is there going to be a sequel to The Untimely Demise of Singer Salvage?

This is cute. I loved Sam and Adam talking about mundane things, like video-games (woo, Legend of Zelda!), being a boyscout, and just goofing around in general. It made me smile, but you're right, there's this underlying sadness to it, since it is the prequel to 'Bump in the Night', and we know how *that's* going. Still, I suppose you should take what you can get, and this one sweet moment is appreciated (curse your lovable angst!) even if it'll pretty much be decimated in the future. It's amazing how different - worlds different - this Sam is from the one in Capstone - gosh, how I love and miss the big, gentle-hearted Sam is this fic. As always, your writing never fails to wow me. :)

Also, I do like 'The Bumpy Road' as a title. What is this 'verse if not a whole bunch of winding, bumpy roads? Poor Winchester boys.
