So tragic, these two. I think you conveyed that very well.

God, wow! Wow. Love how you tied it up neatly at the end with the "it matters/it matters/nothing matters". I have to admit this is possibly my favourite "plothole" to consider, Aeris and Sephiroth's labrat childhood together. And even though this fic deals with it rather minimally, it's got something very nostalgic and poignant about it; the use of the present tense makes that even more apparent.

Alright, now you've seriously made me want to get back into fanfiction x)(haven't written in what... a year? Two, for Final Fantasy?) Keep on writing!

I don't often read things with these characters but I had liked some of your other stuff so I checked it out and I'm glad I did. It was very well written and fun (is that the right word for something angsty?) to read.

The ending is very sad, but same time I like their friendship. Good job on your one-shot.
