It is a good story but I have some tiny problems with some of things. First is that in England there is no paperwork for the health care, the ponit of the NHS is that it is free at the ponit of use, and they would sat in the A&E department not the surgery.
Second is that there is no show in England called top chef the close show I can think of that the British equivalent is called masterchef.

Ahh...birthdays...

Wow...in a sort of disturbing way, John getting him the Cabbie's brain for a birthday present, and even putting a little hat on top, was very sweet. And I love that at first Sherlock doesn't want a fuss about his birthday, but then gets a bit sad when he thinks John forgot. I like that at first he's so against celebrating that he's willing to risk breaking a leg (it's just so dramatic, you know?) and that he reconfigured Mycroft's Ipod present into a small explosive for later. Much more useful.

just loved this little story, clean and concise, well-written, and a delightful slice of the life of Sherlock and John. Thanks for sharing it!

That was soo dementedly cute about their relationship, and how John knows Sherlock hates garish attention. :)

Loved the gift John gave to Sherlock! It is such an original idea. Also, I loved the fact that though initially Sherlock dreads about John finding out about his birthday, later he feels sad when he thinks John forgot. :)
