Lily and James have tied themselves to Harry.. So when he dies, and goes to the afterlife or whatever, why would they not follow him?

I found the ending a bit confusing. If Harry and Hermione only had 2 minutes left when they went into the kitchen, there could be no time at all left when they came out, added to the fact that Ron and Ginny were due to come down the stairs at any moment, so why did Harry and Hermione think that it would be a good time to meditate and go into a trance?

We haven't heard much, if anything, about the Malfoys in this episode. I was wondering when Malfoy's birthday was and if it was more than 5 days earlier than Harry's, in which case Malfoy would have already been taken to Voldemort.

Oh no, what a waste of a cake! Maybe Harry could think of summonin Dobby to make another one?

Wonder how Ron will take all this. I would expect a certain amount of jealousy.

Snape 'had a lot to think about.' Hopefully he will do the thinking before the next opportunity to goad Harry arises. Harry is endeavouring, albeit unsucessfully, to hold back his temper. More than time for Snape to do likewise and start to curb that acerbic tongue.

I liked Hermione's attempt to cheer Harry a bit via an indoor picnic. I used to make these for my kids on rainy days in the holidays. They enjoyed them so much that they often requested them even on dry days. (The kids were, at the time, rather younger than Harry is, but I'm sure the principle can still stand.)

Loved the way Harry got rid of Mrs Black - very original and appropriate.

Still hate Snape. If he's going to end up with Hermione, he's going to have to undergo radical personality and attitude improvement first.

I was wondering again about the lack of reviews and wonder if it was partially due to the title of the first episode - 'A mother's love' and 'Going grey' could give the impression of Augusta Longbottom getting old sitting on her rocking chair, with very little action.

Also, the pairing is shown as HP/LM in the author's notes but in none of the episodes so far is that shown - main characters shown as Hermione and Draco as well as Harry in different episodes. This could mean that people who want to read HP/LM stories might never find this. A suggestion would be that, when the story is complete (and I hope it will be,) it is reloaded as one complete long story with HP/LM as the main pairing. Hopefully then people will find it (and read and review.)

i would love to see harry have an accidental magical outburst and turn all of snapes robes pink or something just as embarrising in the middle of potions

I'm proud of him for keeping his anger under control! Snape's such a pain in the ass! why does he keep on pushing Harry's buttons? how immature is that? LOL

I'm really curious about why Harry had bought the vials, what memories is he going to give Sn- sorry, Professor Snape? To apologize? Can't wait to find out what happens in the new year at school, and i hope Draco makes an appearance soon! Surely the Malfoy curse kicked in a while ago, right?

i'm glad that Harry finally has a good birthday with friends, but the whole power-surge thing has me a bit worried ... He IS going to be awefully powerful, isn't he? I suppose it's a good thing, as he has to defeat Voldemort, but having too much power can't be good for anyone ... whether you're good at heart or not.

Wooow! Harry's going into mature mode! Not telling Pomfrey that Snape was the one who stopped him from his warming down, and then time after time calming himself when Snape was goading him on! Go Harry!

I'm glad that his anger focused on something vile as Mrs. Black's portrait, because even though Snape is being the right git that he's always been to Harry, I still love the greasy haired bastard!

I'm wondering what was Snape trying to say to Harry all the time though?

I am very much enjoying this series but am having trouble with error messages. I was unable to load the first chapter and it seems the 3rd and 4th are also "lost". I'll be checking back to see if the code is working later.

It should be interesting how this new Harry handles class with Snape. I'm looking forward to that and his interaction with others. I'm off to part 3.

I am very much enjoying your tale of Harry and his extra something powers. I kook forward to continued updates. I usually only read completed fics.

I do this to because I have been burned to many times by authors that loss their drive and abandon a work. I hope that isn;t going to be the case with your work.

Keep up the great job... I look forward to the real test when Harry meets up with Malfoy.
