Hey! I love your style of writing and reading a continuation of the movie certainly was fun!
Although, I'd just like to point out one tiny hole in the story you might have missed. Why didn't the curse affect Mulan's father when he returned from war?

THAT WAS AN INCREDIBLE STORY. AWESOME.

I have to say that that was unbelievably better than the Disney film (not that it could have been much worse, in terms of character development!) I absolutely loved it! Grandma Fa was awesome as ever!

Review wise this chapter did give me a bit of trouble. Because it is so short probably and there is not much for the le quoting. If I tried that, I would be forced to copy half of the chapter here.

Why? Because I do love the banter Mulan has with her family. The whole situation feels so lively, nothing is forced. While we don’t know a lot about Mulan’s family post-movie; what is going on here feels very plausible and believable.

And Granny is win – full stop.

Despite it being a lot of dialogue everything just flows so nicely and makes sense. Nothing is stalling and their arguments are really either informative or entertaining at parts.

And Mushu… my, isn’t he a loving ball of sunshine in this chapter?

I find it rather interesting how he has the impression that there needs to be a third party or an accident for her to die. I mean, it is an effin curse, right? Isn’t it? It could – for all I know – be a heart attack or something like that. Now prevent this! Duuh.

Not that I think Mulan’s gonna die in first place, and if… not now. We’ve seen her beating Shan-Yu with a fan; so… nope – no worries! xD

Ummmm... Im pretty sure that this is, uhh, you know... THE BEST STORY EVER! You should definately ( i dont know if that is spelt right or not) write more Mulan story's like this. you know what, they dont even have to be like this story. Just as long as they are Mulan stories.
