Loved the story & happy ending - a sequel to this would be great.

Amazing and beautiful story...

I enjoyed reading this very much. The characters were likeable, the plot, though concentrating on the relationships, was convincing, and Damon was - well, Damon at his best! I even felt a little bad for Stefan - I wished he had at least met a Lexi before taking off. IMHO, he didn't deserve this ending for not telling Elena about Katherine. After all, Damon had done worse by far, and she forgave him easily enough. But this is my only critique, and since I don't care for Stefan all that much anyway, it's just a small thing. I even liked Elena - and that is not a given in every fanfic story out here! ;)

This is amazing. Really. The plot is new, I haven't heard of it ever like this. A one-shot that is turning into something a lot more. I'm thinking that the white owl is Katherine. I'm not sure if I'm right or not, but that's kind of my guess.

Totally loved this story. I'm surprised at how quickly the Stefan issue resolved itself. I like the flip side of it, though, that Damon and Elena ended up together more quickly. Thanks so much!

Yay! I loved this story. A sequel would be great (if you haven't already written one, you should). I can't wait to read more of your writing. It really is amazing. I love Delena, though I have a hard time figuring out why sometimes because he IS a jerk sometimes. When his humanity surfaces though, his original kindness and vulnerability emerge again. That line from the end of season 2 always haunts me: "You should have known me in 1864, you would have liked me." I think 1864 Damon is there, buried beneath the bitterness and rejection. He can be sweet and he can be polite. He just won't be taken advantage of any more. If he feels like he is, then he reacts with dire consequences. Is there anger management for vamps? :) Thanks so much for sharing!
