10 years too late but that was beautiful and heartbreaking and heartwarming and amazing. It feels so sadly believable that Todd (a Todd who didn’t meet the dead poets and Keating and Neil) would also try to commit suicide.

They were both so in character and although they met in different circumstances their dynamic was spot on to their canon selves. (Eager, friendly Neil and shy thoughtful Todd). Loved it and love they got a happy endings

This is beautifully written. I love the concept, because it is believable that both Todd and Neil would end up in this situation. Thank you for writing a beautiful, powerful story.

This is perfect, absolutely perfect. Would that I could understand/write Neil and Todd and how they work together the way you do. And I don't want to sound all pervy and harp on the physical stuff but that just blew my mind, how completely in character and genius it all was. And overall there's just this lovely darkness and light that so fits with the feeling of the movie. Gaah! Okay, this is definitely one of my favourite Neil/Todd fics ever. *head in hands*

I thought this was really interesting. I like that you refer to abuse in Todd's past. Every time I was DPS I think Todd behaves like an abuse victim, but you don't really see that much on here. Thanks for writing!

It's different from any of the other stories I've read and I liked it. It gave the DPS fandom a twist. As always, it was well written so that helps. But yes, good job!

Well I can see how you'd feel drained after writing that but I have to say from where I'm standing (or sitting) it seems like it might have been worth it.

I have wanted a fic like this for so long, you have no idea and the fact that someone as wonderful as you tackled it is just the red body paint on Charlie. (did that make sense?) This was just so emotionally intense on so many levels. The fact that you didn't even add very much to Neil and Todd's actual backstories is actually sort of scary. As well the fact that acknowledging their messed-up-ness actually allows them to come off much less messed up than the ending of the movie.

Ugh, basically it was just wonderful and fantastic and brilliant and I really wish I had a thesaurus right now so I could come up with more words.
