Reviews for Pulverize my guilt in a paper windmill
Kate-Emma chapter 1 . 5/5/2012
My heart just broke, no lie. I'm going to cry. I hope it was real... anyway, lovely story. Very well written and very in-character. Nicely done.
Kageriah chapter 1 . 1/13/2012
You should try to continue...

veils chapter 1 . 3/15/2011
This was oh so amazing, oh so utterly perfect. It was real and raw and personal, and realistic. Ariadne's obsession with Robert was completely plausible, and how Robert was almost immediately infatuated with her really worked. Your writing is wonderfully addicting, and I do hope you try your hand at another Ariadne/Robert story, as you've really captured something amazing writing them. A truly stunning work.
Lorien Urbani chapter 1 . 11/15/2010
This is wonderful!

I, for one, like the Ariadne/Robert pairing, because it is unorthodox, yet it still works. You make it work so very well!

I like the fact that she is obsessed with him. Her feelings stem from guilt, but then they become real, I think. Ridden with angst, but real. As are his, sans the guilt. I just love the connectuon you created between them. It's deep from the start.

I loved their time in Paris, that was so sweet. Also, your juxtaposing her dreams with the reality was so well done. It added to the tension of her situation.

The imagery throughout this piece is beautiful. Very lyrical and I like that.

I froze when he got shot. That was a truly jaw-dropping moment. I had to re-read it two times and still couldn't believe it. Very original. This shocked me, but in a good way. It's untypical and I like things that are not so typical in fiction.

Tricky ending! I like ambiguous endings! However, I am just going to believe he survived.:) Your descriptions of Ariadne's feelings were so clear and strong that I could sometimes feel the way she felt and if I believed that Robert died, I'd go nuts.:) OK, not exactly, but she wouldn't take it lightly, and for the sake of both our sanities, I have decided that Robert truly did survive.

Great Robert/Ariadne piece!

I love this pairing. I enjoyed the way you mixed her dreams of him in with her actual interactions, it made for a very interesting read.

Kimsa Ki-Lurria chapter 1 . 8/31/2010
Yes! Another Ariadne/Robert! I'm glad to see that more people are starting to follow this pairing, if only because it IS unorthodox. And I, for one, thought it worked.

All the little details of this story make up a whole that I love. Like her obsessive dreams about him, and how she tried to love Arthur but couldn't, and all of Robert's little affectionate gestures, and how he brought her along for a conference just because he thought she would admire the structure of the building. They're such a sweet couple, even if their relationship is one just MADE to be angsty.

I have to admit, the scene where Robert was shot, I froze. My thought process looked exactly like this: "no no no no, he can't DIE!"

For the sake of my own sanity, I'm going to assume that he survived - in reality. And they lived happily ever after. ) Hmm.

Thank you for writing this! I hope to see more Robert/Ariadne from you in the future.

Hefeweizen chapter 1 . 8/31/2010
Great work, very intriguing! It's refreshing to see an Ariadne/ Fischer story.
Narquelie chapter 1 . 8/31/2010
You had me at the very beginning, when you mentioned Last Shadow Puppets and THAT song.

This was so beautiful, I don’t really now what to say. I almost thought he would die!

I loved the descriptions, and the way you mixed dreams with reality. And how she tried to be with Arthur but it didn’t work. And how Robert offered her his cab, while few months before he would never do such thing. And how he asked her for a coffee he would try not to spill, and how she showed him her favourite places. I could list many more things that I loved, but I would end up summarizing the story.

I loved it to bits, really. I hope to see more A/R fics from you in the future (:

This was beautifully written! I loved it! Your imagery flows so neatly and you had both characters to the "T" I had to admit my heart stopped when he was shot! Lol! Great Job!
