| iamnotaloneanymore chapter 2 . 1/15/2012 I think what I like most about this story is the realistic progression of friendship. Often times you read stories where friends and eventual lovers meet each other and two seconds later are best of friends. The move from strangers to friends is glossed over. Sure, people hit it off sometimes, but there is still that development that takes place. People are different when you first meet them from after you get to know them and become close with them. That was exemplified in the Naru-Sasu reactions. At first, Sasuke was just an okay guy who was quiet and calculating but not altogether rude. Makes sense. Then Naruto got to know him better.. now he's a bastard, making crude jokes and teasing Naruto with his nicknames.. getting angry, etc. You see Sasuke's metamorphosis from guy I barely know to best friend, and the same goes for Naruto to a lesser extent. Makes it all the more realistic and enjoyable. Thanks :) |
