"Petite" is femenine and since you want to use it to Arthur(a dude) you should say "Mon petit".

"Mon petite" is wrong, because "mon" is masculine (for "my") and "petite" feminine (for small). So in the case you want to refer to a girl with this pet name use: "Ma petite".

To sum up:
Guy "Mon petit"
Girl "Ma petite"
