Reviews for Until the End of Days
duj chapter 15 . 3/12/2005
Haunting.
Varda-Valtameri chapter 15 . 9/12/2004
This story is beyond amazing to the point where I almost don't know what to say (well, almost)! It is so deep and so realistic, so full of raw fear and diminished hope. I have never read anything, whether it be a novel or fanfic, remotely like this- it's so unbelievebly and unimaginably fantastic. A tale of beautiful darkness. It flows with such an understanding it almost seems like a poem. Wonderfuly splendid job of writing about

death among the fairest. It seriuosly sounds like something Tolkien himself would write! Keep it up!
Lady Russell Holmes chapter 15 . 4/22/2004
I still have no words. This is too... filling a story. It leaves no space in my heart for speculation.
The Wolf's Pen chapter 15 . 4/20/2004
Good story, one of the best in Fanfiction.
Lady Russell Holmes chapter 13 . 4/20/2004
Oh, ...
There are no words.
balrogthane chapter 15 . 3/18/2004
Scary. Very well written- although English not being your first language does jump out and bite you from time to time, most notably in your using "or" where "of" should be, and referring to "the Shire" as just "Shire".
I liked it, mostly. It made me feel almost sick, but I had to finish it. Just a few things bugged me- the fight between the Balrog and Ungoliant seemed pretty much pointless. And killing Aragorn with the dragon doesn't match the book, which I know doesn't make it wrong just AU, but it seems like a useless AU: why change the book unless it's needed for the plot?
Anyway, overall, a good job. Just frightening and depressing, as all stories of the End of Days are.

sab chapter 15 . 2/21/2004
this is so good!
Karen chapter 15 . 2/8/2004
I was crying at the end of this. I bow before your artistry with words. There are a few grammer problems, but as you said in your profile, English is not your first language. A very good fic, in the true spirit of Lord of the Rings.
Akedhi chapter 15 . 12/31/2003
Oh, Lady Bright! Cam, this is so sad and good and wonderful and ... words fail me. You are an awesome writer; I salute your genius.
websterans chapter 1 . 11/3/2003
Beautiful. Remarkable. Well researched and deeply affecting.
nightfiredarkelf chapter 15 . 9/15/2003
A beautifully crafted piece of work about Dagor Dagorath. I like it, as I like all your other, less serious works. Nice.
nightfiredarkelf chapter 3 . 9/15/2003
"The Silmarillion" is the name of a set of stories, not the plural of "a silmaril". You want the plural of "silmaril", you just put an "s" on the end.
Huinesoron chapter 15 . 8/24/2003
Wow . . .

That was . . . amazing. Thank you.

Huinesoron chapter 3 . 8/24/2003
Hey. I haven't finished this, but I've just discovered something beyond belief: A genuine Miss Cam-created Mini Balrog. Look:

'You told me of the Silmarillions and Earendel when we rested in Fangorn.'

I'd swear that used to be 'Earendil'. Or is it actually a Gimli-created Mini?

Hiro-tyre chapter 15 . 5/15/2003
This is exactly the kind of story that I love. Friendship, Despair, Hope, and Sacrifice. I don't think that I have ever read anything more perfectly suited to my tastes. Dagor Dagorath and the Elves sacrificing themselves...Why have I not read this before? I love it. The ending...there aren't any words to describe it, except for the ones that you have already used. And the abstract quality. Wow.
