I like this AU a lot, though obviously nothing can come of it. Is it wrong of me to hate these nameless flatmates for the crime of not being John?

And this is why I'm grateful for the existence of fanfiction, because while this would have made an awful pilot episode (no show D:), it was utterly fabulous to read. Very interesting piece, this... sad, and yet not-sad because there's no reason to be sad even though there is. Kind of a mindspin. I like it- but then, I've yet to read anything you've written that I didn't like, so I suppose that's no shock. xD

With out meeting John, Sherlock might have never known the meaning of 'friend' or 'companion'.

woah...Oh my god that's made me cry :'(. I love it and hate it at the same time :) :( . It's not even that upsetting that John's died but the fact that Sherlock and him never even knew each other and Sherlock doesn't see it as important...Ahhhhhh it's so SAD :(:(

Wow, that's powerful stuff. Honestly, its kind of... Horrible to think that yeah, Sherlock probably wouldn't care. Especially when you see what an impact John makes to him in the show. I loved it :)
