Takuma is such a love able and loyal character. I wonder what kind of woman would eventually win his heart considering Yuki is not really an option. Him finding himself in this unfortunate situation I am sure is an absolute nightmare but he handles it with so much grace.

Lord Shoto being the overall mastermind doesn’t surprise me and yet my reaction reading that part was worthy of a YouTube reaction video. That bad blood between the King and Lord Shoto and Lord Toma runs deep. I guess even with the Hious. The plan to steal the dragon blade in order to create a weapon for Lord Toma is very nefarious. They are really great antagonists. And the dynamic between them is quite entertaining.

Since the King tried to kill Yuki, Kaname and Yuki’s budding relationship has been the core of each chapter and so I get nervous for each new chapter thinking not much time will be spent on them, but alas you never disappoint! The ratings change is so very welcomed. I’ve been hoping that would happen for some time. Yuki is having a sexual awakening that’s so fun, funny, entertaining, and sensual. Her thoughts, desires, shyness, and inner conflict is laying down some good tension for the upcoming “themes”. But seriously if Kaname wakes up and “spoils her” by giving her the desires of her heart and err other parts... that’ll make good story for her/their first time — she had to sneak into an all male village, and then consummated their relationship in a sealed cave, on an ancient healing stone tablet... how sexy. Chapter 41 is going to be fire!

This week was so crazy for me I ended up reading the chapter three o' clock in the morning a few days ago and am only now getting to write a review (even though I didn't get to read the chapter a second time). Now I'm seeing chapter forty is here and I can't wait till I have some quiet time to read it. As usual I loved the chapter and Kaname and Yuki's relationship progressing. What was significant to me was Kaname's decision to walk away from the throne. Two chapters ago when the King took Yuki I wondered if Kaname would end up killing the king in the future, but nope Kaname is gonna leave the Kuran legacy behind. I wonder what is Fumiko's thoughts on the situation. Shigeu going to see Juuri had me so tense. It was funny because he went there to express his dissatisfaction but had no intention of punishing her lol. No she can't go to sleep because he and the queen enjoy her company. But now I am super nervous for Haruka *prays for him.*

Does Zero realise his own feelings for Yuki now? He sounds like he is in love with her and knows he lost? In the Caribbean there is a saying, "You lay track for agouti to run." That means you lay the ground for someone else to prosper or benefit over yourself. That's what Kaein did with Haruka and what Zero did with Kaname. Zero could have straight up won Yuki's heart from the beginning of the story but didn't act and he told Yuki to trust Kaname and now Kaname is #winning. Zero conversation with Rima was entertaining. He was a huge jerk but still supporting his girl though! Loved it! I'm really excited to reread this chapter and read the next, sigh but there recently has been constraints on my time. The chapters coming out is the highlight to my week. Thanks again for the hard work and great story telling. You are incredibly gifted!

So much is happening, I don’t even know where to begin my comment on. As usual though, thank you for updating!

I’m always in awe by the love Kaname and Yuki have for each other. Your words are beautiful and poised to bring that to life.

The swamp scene is adorable! And also so relatable - I would’ve reacted the same way as Yuki when being swarmed by spiders.

I really wish history doesn’t repeat itself and that Kaname and Yuki can be together. The Light of Heaven seems interesting...

Finally! Kaname drank Yuki's blood and they kissed! Finally! Finallly! It was so natural too, and geez Im lost for words even though I've waited for this for so long. I'm just really satisfied. On another note Ruka and Kain's story is developing well, I didn't expect them to get this much attention, so its nice. And in the last chapter Seiren finally appeared but with a twist - as a dragon... that was kool and unexpected. Looking forward to the next chapter :D
