Guest chapter 13 . 7/6/2015 Excellent story! It made my day! |
young lavender lady chapter 1 . 6/26/2015 Hurray! I found another Robin-centric story. I’m a die-hard Robin Hood fan, and I regret so much that a few people write about Robin these days. I’m going to read it as soon as I can. I’ll post a review in the end. |
Mister Charlie Chaplin chapter 13 . 6/23/2015 very nice story, very nice |
Wayward-Son123 chapter 12 . 9/30/2014 So...are you planing to finish? It would be great if you could write the end. You're kinda leaving me hanging here. |
fireangel2000 chapter 12 . 2/9/2014 Robin and Marian are for each other. I saw reviews that they may be better to separate ... I see it is possible... but I do not want it! |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 1 . 12/16/2013 Poor Robin. Poor Robin... What shocked me to the core was that Marian smiled, even if faintly, as she walked out of the church. |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 12 . 12/14/2013 Much better! Great that the meeting with Malcom finally happened. Robin will feel better now; I hope he will start treating people better. Anyway, in this story I am against shipping Robin and Marian. I think they should not be together given that their past is ugly, there is betrayal between them, and Guy's son. Guy's shadow will always haunt them. Please update soon! |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 11 . 12/14/2013 In this chapter Marian is better than in previous ones. However, I still think that she indeed needs to change her behaviour. Robin... Poor robin... So many years in the Holy Land, so many betrayals... I understand his anger, but he needs to be knocked out as he is too harsh. He needs to become less bitter and more trusting to his friends. |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 10 . 12/14/2013 Robin and Marian are different people. Marian's betrayal nearly destroyed him; I can call it only betrayal. Really, I doubt that they can be together now. Maybe another girl should appear in the story? Their love doesn't look like a pure and deep love. If Marian fell in love with Guy, I doubt she loved Robin as much as he loved her. But there is a thin line between love and hate, which their overstepped. Raymond got the point. Guy was a traitor, even if he somehow changed after his marriage to Marian. However, I doubt that Guy changed as his violence was evident when he was stripped of all titles and tried to assassinate the royal messenger - the disguised King. Guy created a life of lies for Marian, and she is still clinging to the thought that Robin had to pardon him. I think Guy and Marian's son makes things more complicated. I don't think that Robin will accept the child. I think Robin needs a fresh start with another woman. |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 9 . 12/14/2013 Amazing story! Amazing! You write so well! I wanted to comment on Marian. I am disappointed with her. She is a fool. I guess she is around 25 in this story, but she is really a fool. Or is she pretending? She is a little changed, but I suppose it is because she lived with Guy who lied to her, always lied, while she was blind or stupid not to understand that her husband was indeed a murderous traitor. Robin is also different. Robin of Locksley is not dead, but Robin Hood is hidden inside his wounded heart. It is no wonder that robin cannot be himself after 7 years in the Holy Land, after Marian's betrayal. I really think that Marian betrayed Robin's love as she married Gisborne. If I were Robin, I would have tried to forget her and find another woman. Maybe Robin and Another noblewoman should be better in this story. |
Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 8 . 12/14/2013 This is a brilliant story! Amazing story! I like the plot line and the development. I have always wondered what would have happened if Robin had gone to the war after his arrival to England and his life as an outlaw. Marian is really irritating me in this chapter. Some of her phrases knock me out as she speaks as if she were a school girl. It is so foolish to defend Guilsborne. He was wild even when he was stripped off all his titles as he threw a dagger in the king disguised as a messenger. Guy is too wild and there is much anger in him, but he hides it. |
nick chapter 12 . 8/3/2013 Great story I like it |
Starla chapter 12 . 8/2/2013 Nice to see an update to this fic. It's been a while, but it's always nice to revisit an old friend. On that point it's very nice to see Robin getting some sense knocked into him. He needed that, he's been so very bitter since he came back, and honestly it's about time someone knocked some sense into him. It had to be someone that Robin couldn't outrank or take his anger out on. His father was the perfect person to do that, being his father, he has that parental rank and isn't bothered by Robin's anger. He doesn't approve and can pull that, Robin can be angry and petulant all he likes. Won't sawy his father. In some ways I do see where Malcom was coming from but at the same time I don't agree that Guy would have been better off having his life spared. If his life were spared he'd still never see Marian or his son again. He'd likely be sentenced to a labor camp far away with no chance to return and he'd probably end up dying in the camp. It would be worse in some ways to the death he was given as a traitor. There's just no way he'd have been allowed to live out his life with Marian and his son. Not and be realistic. Good chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next! |
bubzchoc chapter 12 . 8/2/2013 Brilliant |
