Reviews for Bad Medicine
CK chapter 1 . 7/1/2019
Holy shit, this is amazing. I LOVE how you wrote this!
Marching Madly Onward chapter 1 . 4/27/2017
I say God Damn!

This did everything right. It characterized Pestilence wonderfully when he got all of one line of characterization. It made sense of the world with little touches like God owing Death a favor for the resurrection of Christ. It made these monstrous engines of destruction feel real and relatable with things like Pestilence's almost fatherly concern and anger for Pollution.

And you did it all with the kind of wry, dark humor shot through the story I would expect of the source material. Pollution getting so excited about HIV/AIDS had me laughing and cringing all at once.

I could go on, but I think you get my points. It's a logical, funny, poignant extension of the source material. The only thing against this story is that it had to end.
Pollution chapter 1 . 7/13/2013
This was freaking incredible. Remarkable, and in all honesty, wonderful.

Hi, I followed the same link as Maat, and I'm so glad I did! What a great story! There's seriously not a thing I don't love about it. :D
Maat chapter 1 . 2/21/2011
Holy dancing Jesus on a pogo stick, this is brilliant. This is just absolutely brilliant and if you wrote a book I would read it just based off of your writing talent in this oneshot. Wow. Just...wow.

(btw I'm the person you linked this to on lj, which is why you're randomly receiving a review for it now.)

And...it would be wonderful if you were to write more Good Omens fic. If you do, please inform me. :-)
Anmynous chapter 1 . 8/31/2010

Gogol chapter 1 . 8/26/2010
THIS.

IS /SICKENINGLY/ ADORABLE.

I'm sorry, it just had to be said. But seriously, I loved it. I loved it hard. It was funny and gross and touching. Your Pestilence is perfect. All your Horsepersons are.

Also: this /In fact, it felt so unwell that, in its confusion, it would by some accident land and sing in Berkeley Square, becoming the first nightingale to ever do so./ the rest of the buildup to the inevitable unveiling of bird flu was the best explanation ever for that damn nightingale, not to mention hilarious.

Thank you for writing!
