The last line of this chapter sums it up really well (...and maybe their relationship, too?). I love this, I love the idea of Riza having this morning routine and using it as a form of payback, and I really just like the image of Roy trailing behind Riza on their jog. I enjoyed reading this one, and considering you don't write lighthearted Royai too much, this was really well-written! Keep up your good work! :)

I honestly can't remember the last time I read FMA fanfiction, like it took me a while to remember all these characters - I mean I thought Fuery was Grumman at first, that's how bad it's gotten. But I am super glad I got to read this, because it brought back just how much Roy and Riza really care for each other and ugghghughh. The feels. Riza's monologue was so heartfelt, and everyone's worry was so heavy in the air and the tone of this fic and. I love this a lot.
Also, Rebecca was great; I actually remember her because she was super badass in the manga, and I feel that you kept her sorta suave character. Unless I'm actually not remembering it right, and she's actually not very suave-ish in the manga... Either way, I love your version of it.
I don't know, I didn't think it was cliche? Maybe I just have a different idea of cliche. But I love this chapter, and your writing is superb as always. Keep it up! :)

I loved this chapter so much. Loved the references. I would like to see some more discription of facial expressions than smiles and winks please.

I buy that canon. I buy it. You should have heard my inhuman noises of delight at the last line though :D For the first part of the story though I was quite confused. I thought you had accidentally archived this in Maybe Later Sir instead of Fables of Xing.
