I read this story back when you had it posted under your old alias and I’m so glad you put it back online - after all those years, it’s still one of my favourites, funny and quirky and light-hearted. I love the slightly bittersweet ending and how it fits so seamlessly with the mood of the story as a whole.

Great ending. This story really makes one think. . . . It's strange . . . it's never crossed my mind to do comedy with them. My mind stays in this dark, gothic world of torment, pain, and anguish. Maybe I should branch out a bit. Might be fun.

You are so great. This is my favorite chapter. Sheila's never been bolder. She so rocks. What a pair! People ask me what the deal is with Venger/Sheila shippers. It's because I can so easily see them acting like this as a married couple. They fit. It works. They'd be good for each other.

I love funny twists like this. "Twists" wasn't the word I wanted, but I can't think of the proper word for this type of comical scenario. The dialogue is great, too. I can't believe I'm enjoying loose, short chapters this much, but this is a story where no depth or development is needed. Not a lot of writers, or plots, can get away with this. It reminds me of writing when I'm drunk. :-D

Oh how I love watching Venger in torment. . . .

The plot and style are so enjoyable that I don't even mind that it's written in third person omniscient! This fic is just plain fun on a stick and I'm eating it up.

I love this characterization of Venger, slouched and aching, daydreaming things he only wishes he could bring about. . . . Yeah, he could use a woman.

It's been so long I don't remember what happens, and I'm liking that. It's like reading a new fic that you already know you like.

*raises hand* I'm another who's read this before and really enjoyed it. It's a nice, casual sort of writing style that flows easily and still fills the mind with perfect visuals from the cartoon. And the humor is toned down just enough that it's both believable and fun.

I like Venger's carelessness getting him in trouble with Tiamat. Right between the eyes!
