- both being jealous of each other's ...partners/distractions/attempts at self-delusion or leading a 'normal life'

- the picture of Lucas and HS sitting in the palm of Ros' hand..

- the picture of both meeting outside Ros' room - eyeballing each other (somehow I can't quite picture HS being on (one-sided) first name basis with Lucas... does he even know him? Personally? hm. puzzled.
