I wanted to hate this story.

I have this thing against the Warners not being zany and silly. I don’t like the idea of them being put in dark situations.

But this fanfic is different.

At first when I read it I thought “oh boy, more drama and angst :/“ but as I continued reading I found myself being so intrigued by the big mystery. I would read every chapter searching for clues on who did what. I was emotionally invested in these characters and their relationships with one another.

This fanfic was phenomenal. Keep up the amazing work :)

I really love this story and your character development, especially of the Warner siblings, is spot on. I just have one teeny issue/question. If Brain (also spot on characterization BTW) is here, what about Pinky? It's like there's a huge missed opportunity here :-(

Hey, it’s 2018, and I just finished this entire fic. It’s spectacular. The plot, the worldbuilding, the characterization...incredible. I was riveted from the first chapter. I love especially your exploration of Yakko’s relationships with his siblings and Bugs, and, well, basically every single other relationship in this fic. I’m sad this is over, I really don’t want to leave this universe. Well, well done!

I absolutely love this fanfic! I love how you tied the Warners' family into the story so well! The Warners act like they do in the show, and it's so well written!

This is the best Animaniacs fanfic I've ever read, like, seriously.

Okay, Bugs admitting he's unofficially adopted Yakko as his kid is ridiculously adorable. This dynamic with these two overall in this fic is some of the most heartwarming material I've ever seen, and never have I ever wanted something to be made canon more than this. All that's missing is the freaking fan art.

First, "I never bothered having a kid of my own...But then I found you running around the lot.", and now this:

"I can't do that, he's my kid"
"he's just like me"
"he's exactly like me…when I talk to him I see myself, what I would've been like if I hadn't been drawn. You know what it's like not having any family, and he's the closest thing I'll ever get. He's special, doc, because he's special to me."

Oh my heart, man. I never realized how much I needed Bugs as a paternal figure to the Warners, to Yakko in particular, until I found this. I need more of it!

If fanfiction could get Oscars, you'd need a Hammerspace to store them all with how good this story is. YOU WIN ALL THE FANFICTION OSCARS! Or would it be a Newberries? Whatever the specific award is for authors and writing masterpieces, you deserve them ALL!

gosh I'm only seven chapters in so far but this is by FAR my favorite animaniacs! fic I've read so far! The characterization is INCREDIBLE and you're such a consistent writer. Each chapter in the beginning I would finish and be thrilled with, but part of me would begin wondering when the quality would begin to slip or when the wild OOC traits would come into play. But doll, by now I've realized my worrying was for naught. You are a GREAT writer and I cannot wait to read the remaining chapters! Best of luck in all your future projects!

Hi! I'm a long time fan of Animaniacs, but never checked out the fandom until this week and just stumbled across your work. Once I got to this chapter I knew I had to review because honestly, I've never been so excited to discover I was right about the "main villain" identity. Early on I guessed it would be the blot (or Spielberg), but you've told the story in such a compelling way and with such an excellent reveal that I quite literally screamed "f- yes" at the blot's appearance (my roommates will never let me live this down). Your writing is spectacular and the characterization is perfect (everyone's voice is so clear its amazing) and the world building takes by breath away. Please, please, never stop writing, regardless of the material, because you have a remarkable talent. Anyhow, I have to get back to reading as I CAN'T WAIT to see what you have lined up for a conclusion. Thank you for posting such a fun, well-done, work of fanfiction. Hope you have a wonderful week!

My fave characters were probably babs, wakko, and Yosemite Sam! Though I started liking Oswald by the end too (I knew he couldn't be evil!).
