well then, I was waiting this entire story for sano. I am grateful you added him in. I was hoping this wasnt another megumi story, that just ended up with her alone.

it's very interesting to know about megumi's feeling toward kenshin based of megumi's pov,but u make megumi looks too hate kaoru..

i think both megumi n kaoru are rival in every aspect to get kenshin's attention,but they're very respect each isn't megumi hates kaoru in that way(that silly tomboy little girl finally wins kenshin),but megumi hate kaoru's childish behaviour when she begin acting so melo so she decide to 'teach' d inexperience girl.

This is a fantastic fiction so far! The suspense of finding out what happens between Kenshin and Megumi in the thicket is KILLING me! I absolutely adore that pairing, even as a side pairing! It's really well written so far, can't wait for the next chappy!

First of all, I would like to commend you for your courage. I always believe that an author should never be swayed by another person's thoughts or biases alone, even if the author writes FANfiction. So what if someone would flame you for what you have written? That does not warrant anything at all. That should not dissuade you from writing a masterpiece you already have drafted in your mind. So, kudos to you. :)

It's a fact: a person would either hate or love your work. Those who are neutral would not even bother to read - why would they care? As for me, I LOVE this piece. I've been actually looking for something like this, something that is so out of the ordinary (canon) but is quite possible. And Megumi, for me, is such a colorful character to write with her personality and past. Go on, with this, my friend. I shall continue to leave you my happy notes. :)

Interesting. Mocking your reviewers isn't very nice, you might lose them that way. I was just giving a heads up that someone else might flame or even stop reading the story entirely since you stated it to be canon and if you did not follow through by doing that. But you treat goodwill as a sin. Oh well.

Good chapter, Kenji is amusing and cute. Yahiko's matured but still needs to grow up a bit more. Wonder what they'd be plotting now? Would Kenshin help? Unless he harbors feelings, of course. Gensai's funny too, but a nice man.

You're kidding me, right? If Kenshin kisses Megumi, then this story isn't really canon anymore. Because if it was the canon Kenshin, he wouldn't really cheat on Kaoru, and that much is certain. Kenshin's that decent, man, so don't make him cheat? Tread these waters cautiously or some person might come along and flame ya. Just giving you a heads up on this, that's all.

But other than that, not a bad story, interesting take on Megumi. I always assumed that she moved onto Sano by the end of the manga since I felt they had a good chemistry with all the bantering and such. Keep up the work.

This sounds like a good beginning to a story. It seems that things are strained between the lonely Megumi and the Himuras.

Please don't mention Kenshin's haircut too much. I like to pretend it didn't happen. :-)

Ooh, I really like this so far! I have always liked the idea of Megumi and Kenshin, for some reason, even if you are not intending to exactly head that direction...I can't tell yet. But I think in both the manga and anime, it was clear that Megumi, despite her superficial flirtations and teasings, had some deep feelings for the redhead. I'm really interested in your next chapter, so update soon!
