I cry every time I read this. It never lost its ability to wreck a bitch. It's beautiful and tragic and meaningful and always leaves me feeling hopeful about life. I love Quinn and Rachel's relationship and how incredibly beautiful and powerful their love for each other. I love their kids. I love Levi's courage and his speech and how he never lost sight of his heros. It really touched me.

I have never cried as hard as I have over a story. The last time I've cried like this was the day they lowered my best friend into the ground. So, Jesus. That's saying something.

This was breathtakingly beautiful. Rachel going deaf wasn't nearly as heartrending as her having to record her voice for Quinn and her children so they wouldn't forget. I couldn't stop crying when I realized Rachel had never ever heard her baby's first cry when they brought him into the world, or that she would never be able to hear Amelia sing. But it was Levi's speech, and the last line that utterly decimated me.

I just found this, and oh my gosh, this was so beautiful. It was beautifully written, and so damn heartbreaking. The fact that you managed to stir so many emotions within me with just a little over 7,000 words is insane. I even got a bit choked up reading the final chapter and had to hold back tears. This was amazing and I am glad to have discovered this gem of a story :)
