Nice story!

Yo. Remember me? I'm starting this story again because it's been...well...many, many moons since i read it, and i was cleaning out my e-mail box and i found your email you sent me many moons ago about this story so i've started it again. Sorry for the delay!

Wow. This is a good story. One thiing that irks me, though. When you make a paragraph, you keep all conversation in that paragraph. To make it easier on the eyes, make a new paragraph every time you have a new conversation.

Once again X-wing proves that we don't need no stinkin' Jedi! This was an excellent novel if a bit on the angstsy side. Although torture is seen and mentioned many times in Star Wars, rarely are some of the uglier sides shown/discussed. The SW movies and the novels generally stay between PG and PG-13 but hey that's why this is fanfiction right? I like the line from KOTOR best: "They say the Force can do terrible things to a mind. It can erase your memories and take away your very identity." But of course Vader was only on the ship for a short time.

Critiques...

1. I don't think you made it very clear that Coreena was Force-sensitive either directly or subtly.

2. On your Dramatis Personae, Chesfer is listed as a general.

3. On a side note, it has been confirmed that Telsij Cayr was flying as Grey Two at Endor. This might not be correct because the actor that was identified as Cayr was a man!

4. I'm not sure Vader would have been able to show up on the Predator so soon after Yavin.

5. Although story is the last thing that detracts from an X-wing story, I think you could've fleshed out some of the space battles some more but sometimes you just gotta type what you can when the inspiration strikes.

That's about it but I did have a few other things I wanted to comment on.

Were the Biniir Blue Diamonds named after the Battle of Ord Biniir mentioned in the X-wing comics?

How long will it be before the sequal comes out, because you really can't leave Coreena like that. Plus Grey Squadron really needs to kick some serious butt after what Chesfer did. Perhaps the Rogues could make a cameo to help in the hunt? With Luke perhaps? Just a suggestion.

Yikes...this was angsty. I like angst, though, so it was all good. Really well written. It leaves nobody untouched, this whole spectacle with Chesfer. Will we be seeing a sequel, or is this the definite end?

In any case, congratulations on a job well done!
