I love the characterization.

Toushirou's death was horrifying. I am beyond words.
It's nice he could sort of reconnect with Shigeru though. I wonder how Shigeru will react when he dies and is sent to Soul Society- only to realize that his baby bro is actually a captain? I do hope he does learn of it.
So Toushirou is a noble? Wow. Nice.

I also really liked the diadem plot, though it worries me greatly that it has been made public. Voldemort may not notice the destruction of a Horcrux, but he will realize this particular Horcrux has been destroyed somehow and he'll be angry.

I relished the few mentions of Hyourinmaru and the strong bond you always aknowledged.

I pray I will find sequels to this when I click onto your name.

I really love what you did with canon. The match was even more interesting with Harry actually falling off now. But ouch, that was cold. Though I don't think Toushirou wishes any harm to Harry, his idle wondering what would have happened had his fall not been stopped was harsh...

Who the heck is it Toushirou is feeling? And why on earth doesn't Yoruichi feel it, too? I mean, I'm the first one to agree when someone says Toushirou could actually be a lot stronger than her- he certainly has a hell of a lot of potential, but she's the former captain of the stealth force.
Could it be Peter Pettigrew? Though why would he be interested? And how would he hide his soul...

Though you did say you wouldn't do it, I keep expecting Harry and Ron intersecting with Toushirou and Hermione. I like how the troll incident happened here though.

Also, while I'd initially hoped for Toushirou to ace his classes, all of them, I think it is very plausible what you had Hermione explain with Wingardium Leviosa and also the reason why he had difficulties with it made sense.

The tryouts were fine- and you put a lot of thought into which position Toushirou would go for. While I still maintain he'd be best suited for the seeker position, he is right in thinking he would be far too good at it and end up being bored out of his mind. Chaser, therefore, is a good position for him.

I was rather sure you could not try out for Quidditch as a first year in canon. Harry got a special allowance. But as this is not canon, why not? I think it's better anyway to be allowed to try out in first year.

So Toushirou is going to be on a Quidditch team? I wonder which position he'll get. I think seeker fits him best.

I like how you wrote Snape as a fair teacher, albeit begrudgingly so. It makes sense he would be far less biased against Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff who themselves seem less biased against his house than Gryffindor. But as they, too, ARE still biased against Slytherin, it makes sense he isn't some cuddly teacher. Also, when could he have learned a better way to teach? When he started, he was teaching kids who knew him as Snivellous, the Marauder's favourite victim and he had to use fear to make them obey- and make them think he was untouchable.
Long story short, I like what you did with him here.

The flying lesson...it kind of rubbed me the wrong way to see Toushirou so high and mighty (even if just in his mind) when he saw the others having troubles. I don't think he'd be that way. I did like the ease he felt in the air though. If only they knew he wouldn't even need a broom, lol.

I love how he dealt with the ghosts- it makes sense he takes care of it quickly (that's Toushirou for you- highly efficient). I'm glad they have not yet talked and now won't.

I have no problem with not seeing much of the classes themselves.

I loved the sorting and also the changes you made to canon. Besides the obvious point of Toushirou being a Hogwarts student, that is ;-)

I think those changes make sense and if things had happened differently, perhaps Harry wouldn't have ended up in Gryffindor either.

Nice riddle. I admit it took me a bit to figure it out but the answer is obvious.

I also like the fact that you didn't just put Toushirou in Gryffindor. Though he is certainly very brave and courageous (even reckless, at times, especially with his own life), he isn't the loud, boisterous type...Gryffindor would fit Rangiku, but not him.

I'm very curious as to what else will change and of course how Toushirou will tackle Hogwarts. I'm sure he'll be genius as always.

I love the shopping trip and Toushirou's wand. My Hyourinmaru-starved self was elated to see mention of him and it's great how he approved of the wand. (Hilarious, by the way, how Toushirou destroyed she shop).

So, Toushirou has met Hermione? She's a sweet kid. I think in this setting, she would be rather outgoing, just as you wrote her.

Lol, poor Toushirou. Yoruichi is already trying to play matchmaker.

Spot on characterization for McGonagall there! The meeting was great. The mental image of Yoruichi suddenly speaking in her catform and Urahara laughing silently to himself as they all pretend to be unaware of the magical world made me laugh.

I'm curious what kind of wand Toushirou will get. Still hoping for Hyourinmaru/Toushirou interaction (no pairing, just...interaction).

I've noticed you tend to write "vary" instead of "very" and "harried" (meaning in a rush and stressed) instead of "-haired" (meaning the colour, length or style of someones hair)

I love how you write them all. Toushirou's Gigai is great and I love how he trains with Kisuke and Yoruichi. To me, you nailed their characters.

I admit I reacted similar to Hyourinmaru to the thought of Yoruichi ursurping his postion as his Master's protector- where is Hyourinmaru anyways? I miss him.

I love the beginning! You've got a similar reason to myself in regards to magic. Well, sort of. I also headcanon that they loose their magic upon death and that it is exceptionally rare for them to keep it and even rarer for those very few to become Shinigami. But as Toushirou is Gin and Rangiku's biological child in my mind, I have another way to have him be magical. Because of course, he will have magic. ;-)

How are you going to explain the time difference? As I'm guessing he'll be at Hogwarts with Harry? Because it's 2005 at least in Bleach canon, right?

Oh, I hate Mayuri! Poor Toushirou.

And 8 years? Including a year as an elementary student? That's harsh. He's going to die of boredom. Will he be a genius in Hogwarts? Kind of like the thought.

With what we've seen of Rangiku it seems lilely he won't have a division to return to if he leaves her in charge and he certainly feels that way. Though I think we're all underestimating her- for his sake, I am sure she would step up. Of course, delegating and procastinating as much as possible, but she won't destroy the division.

Very curious to read on.
