Noooes, abrupt ending! D: 'Tis was still good, though. I'm very glad that I got to read this fanfic from start to finish and love how you set it up the upcoming sequel. Sounds like it could be a really good one, methinks. ;)

Arrrgh! Now I want to make a Sazabi/Captain tribute using the song Angels! Dangnabbit! I'll have you know though, I *love* that song. It totally made my day when I started reading the passage at the end of the chapter and realized what it was. :D

I always felt bad for the trio and how Sazabi always flipped out on them, but this time it was certainly justified. Poor Chronos! D: The one thing I *did* like about it was this: You certainly caught Sazabi's temper in his reaction to the abuse perfectly. Well done. :P

The ending was so... oh geez, I can't even say. XD I just love this chapter to bits and pieces. Sorry for the late review too, though. Mmmrrgh! So much easier to read this time, methinks. It gave the chapter a sense of length too, which helps to draw readers in... totally in disregard to myself, since I'm already here an was already drawn in since the first chapter was posted. X3

Because I was stupid and didn't comprehend that this story wasn't written by FEHT, allow me to direct this review - and the majority of the last one - to whoever is writing this fanfic. (sends imaginary cookies)

I like how both Captain and Sazabi have worked out their differences and have come to a bit of a *gigglesnort* "Stalemate" (I MAED A JOEK, LOLZ) in regard to their current arrangement. Although Captain - or Chronos - is still a prisoner, both he and the commander are on more of an equal playing field. I like how you explained the manner in which both Sazabi's and Captain's souldrives interacted with one another too. Well thought out, and I'm curious to see if you go anywhere else with it.

Is it just me, or do I find it cute that Captain trusts Sazabi with his real name while Sazabi himself doesn't seem to trust Captain with his own? It's probably just me I'm sure, but I felt like pointing it out. :)

Anywho, can't wait for the next chapter! Oh! And before I forget... could I maybe ask you something? I'm writing a fanfic for FEHT's challenge too, but I was hoping I could pay tribute to you for using the name "Stalemate" by using the name "Chronos" for Captain in my own fanfic. Just a thought. :P (puts another batch of cookies out a scampers away to hide underneath the Komusai)

Oh my, where to begin! First things first though... FLAMEFLAMEFLAMEFL- (dodges sharp objects thrown at her by several disgruntled Zakos) Pssh, I'm only teasing. :P

Back on track, let me tell you: I. LOVE. THIS. There certainly aren't enough stories that actually feature Sazabi as a main character, let alone slashy ones. 'Tis makes me a happy bunny deep down inside... and, of course, inspires me to really get my butt in gear and work on my own Sazabi/Captain fic for this challenge. Sorry about not responding to your recent PMs either, for the record. I was on vacation getting stung by jellyfish and being a lazy bum. :3

For a minor critique though, you might want to space out dialogue into separate paragraphs. It’s a bit hard on the eyes to transition between both Captain and Sazabi talking back and forth when there's no break. It’s just my opinion, so feel free to pelt me with heavy objects if you see the need to. On regards to everything else though, I'm loving it so far! Both Sazabi and Captain are in good character, and their dialogue matches to par. I’ve noticed with other fanfics that most other authors have a bit of difficulty writing Sazabi, but he’s pretty much spot on here. Well done! :)

Totally off subject, I broke down into a fit of squeaking squeakiness when Sazabi introduced himself as "Stalemate" to Captain. It made me a very happy muffin. (gives plate of cookies for your troubles)

Not much more I can say, other than I hope to read more soon. My own story is should be posted in a few days, once I can get past what I want to do plot wise. I've gotten a bit into it. The original was supposed to be two pages, now I'm up to seven because it simply refuses to end! Anywho, can’t wait to see what you come up with~! (adds story to favorites)
