I love love love LOVE this. And what's even better is that unlike some other fanfics (no matter what fandom), where the pairing ends up kissing, you kept them in character (rather than making it all fluffy). -throws confetti on you-

i originally read your sledge/snafu stuff on livejournal, but i felt like showing a bit of appreciation in the form of a review here. this one's definitely my favorite of the bunch. written flawlessly.

Okay so I don't know if I ever reviewed your other Gene/Snafu story but here I am reviewing this one. I really thought it was brilliant. I like the way you write. Its very interesting and it makes the reading a much more raw and emotional experience. And yes, sometimes I was a bit confused by the wordings, but it was more because of the unique way in which you write, not the fact that you've made grammatical errors or anything like that.

I also think that the pairing you've got here makes for the perfect one for you. Their relationship in the series and through that exploration here has so much depth and there's really nothing else to compare to besides that Nix/Dick relationship in Band of Brothers.

Anyways...now that I've been philosophical for the day, I can't wait for something new from you. I can't believe it took me this long to find this story.
