I really like this! There's not enough well-written stuff for the background characters, but a lot of them, Finny especially, have interesting stories that deserve to be explored. You do that well here, so well done!

I think Finny needs more Fanfiction love. I mean, come on! his past was so angsty! All the authors should be jumping to write about him! lol The other background characters also could use some love. They really make the show interesting for me. (more so than Ceil and Seb. do)

I don't think you're missing the point, hahah. Finny and Bard and Maylin (Mayrin?) kind of make the story for me. And I love Sohma and Agni (SOMUCH), and Lau. The background characters are really just ... underappreciated, I guess.

But, the story, yes. It's really .. kind of haunting, in a sad way. It really does feel like Finny in an odd way, and it just makes me want to hug him. .n. The last line really strikes me, too. So yes, this is really a very poetically sad piece and I really liked it. .w. Thank you for posting.
