I personally would be against letting it play out. After all, in the original, Tali makes it through okay but she does it ALONE.

What if letting it play out has the same result? After all, we don't know whether Tali had a friend who died...

This is definately one of the better OC stories for Mass effect that I've read to date. I am curious about how Daniel is going to break it to Shepard and Shepard (laughed good when I read that) that he is from the past. Keep up the good work! :D

This story is excellent thus far, though I dislike the fact that the 'Shepards' are both the same rank, and apparently serving on the same ship. It seems a bit strange to have two commanders. It'd probably be better if one was bumped down a rank or so, or at least one received a promotion to captain (in place of Anderson).

Just getting it out is usually the best way to continue. So keep it up and release another chapter soon or you won't get to it for a while. I would know. So release another chapter or else it will make me angry. I don't like being angry. It makes me have to take out the duck-tape and the pressure washer...you don't want that.
