Goodness, your writing– your perfect characterization– the mood set by the skillfully placed words... Excellent! Just excellent! I, too, have been waiting a loooong time for a fic like this, and it's just PERFECT! It's already amazing as a oneshot, but it would be much better as well if it had been continued – or at least another fic set when Jo and Laurie have happily married. I'd give it an 11 out of 10. You are my role model for writing, my friend. Keep up the splendid work!

I loved this story. Y'know...sincerely? It has everything. Tenderness, love, sex, really well written characters (no OOC detected here), really good jokes (the one quoted had me laughing a while, since I imagined the whole moment) and... well, I gues it's good tor read something about this couple, that did not make it in the book, have this much fun. It seems completely plausible, and that makes it twice as enjoyable.

I'm not a native english speaker, so sometimes so many "high-word" usage baffled me. In the end, I got used to it, and I loved it.

Dunno if you'll follow up with a second chapter someday... but I seriously hope you will. And YOU, not anybody else. This style is hard to match, and it would feel out of place if anybody else did it.

And I don't mean a second chapter as just some fluff-filler, no: you left the theme of Jo's disappointment with herself there, as if to continue to dwelve into it, and resolve it eventually, maybe with a little of drama, or maybe with fun situations. I dunno. you can handle it.

Now, if you don't continue it... I've written some things on my own, and I understand how hard is to follow up something that you feel so satisfied with hahaha, so null sweat.

tl;dr 10/10. Awesome story. Love n' peace, gurl!

Of all the Little Women fiction here, this is the best piece I've ever read! Might even go as far as to say that it's the only good one! I love your characterization of both Jo and Laurie, she is dotty and unconventional but he is so in love. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

I couldn't really understang it at all [You know, my mothertongue is spanish] because of the difficult words. But anyway, i really enjoyed it ;D Now you're making me practice english vocabulary xD

I must say that i LOVE Jo/Laurie... And i feel terribly sad everytime i remember Jo refused to marry him :/
