Okay. I think the part where she tails him, loses him and gets chewed by Joan which is immediately followed by Natasha coming in bloody is the dream. I mean, Joan was yelling at her - it was OOC for Joan.

It can't be the one in Joan's office where Auggie was present and accounted for, can it?

I think that the first part was real...ish I think when she sees him " dead" and falls into a coma. And dreams the second part but (hopefully) when she wakes up he is still alive

Whoaa Kayy , Bar the Door! That was brilliantly done and so, so original. Time and the episode has taken Auggie down another road, but his look when Natasha jumped and left him on the train was almost a death of sorts.

But God forbid that we every lose our Auggie from the story.

Love the way you blended the two possible realities into an enigma for us to ponder. Bravo. Great read.

unfortunatly, based on what Auggie said at the end,i think he died. and the 2nd part was her dream after she passed out due to shock. Her brain is trying to let her down slowly. :'-(

So I read it once and then I read the last part again... you're right it is as confusing as it can be but I'm thinking that the last part is real except Annie wouldn't be leaning on Joan like that... Wow.

That is so messed up. I definitely think that the whole thing was a dream. Auggie dies and she can't take it. so she thinks she's dreaming. And when she wakes up he's fine. But she's still asleep. that's our mind playing tricks on us. But that's just one way it could have happened. I really like it. Thanks for messing with my mind, I love these kinds of fics :)

hmmm...this definitely has me just about pulling my hair out while trying to figure out what was real and what wasn't...however, for my own sanity, I'm just going to believe that Auggie being alive is what was real...yep...that's my final answer haha

This was excellent and not confusing at all. Loved it!

I don't have a choose on which is which. But I'm extremely well with confusing things and I got it. The whole one side was the dream world and one was reality, but you can never tell the difference at all. :)

I think I was just mind fucked. The ending totally reminded me of Inception (great movie, btw), but I love those kinds of things. I love how it was written well with the right amount of detail to have a mental image of what's going on, but still vague enough to leave a sense of confusion at the end. And my optimistic side will have to say that his dying was the dream because a dead Auggie equals all kinds of bad things.

hmmm interesting...i say auggie's death is a dream. because auggie CAN NOT die. but sadly i am just not smart enough to figure it out but i would hope the beginning of the mission was real, she fell asleep somewhere along when she went back to langley and then woke up again. ok i have no idea if you would like to respond i am at
